Rewind Please!

Sadly, due to the procrastination dilemma addressed in the previous post, I am REWINDING the past months’ events till present! The last month has brought about many adventures, beginning with YardSALE’ing for Nepal Mission Project. For those of you who don’t know, I have been blessed with the opportunity to accompany my Aunt Rosette to Pokhara, Nepal to assist in reestablishing child survivors of the sex trafficking trade. The yard sale was a fundraiser to help purchase basic necessities (e.g., clothing, toothbrushes, soap) as well as bigger items such as storage bins, refrigerators and washing machines. Here are some pictures from the yard sale…

Our travels called for three layovers, the first and lengthiest in Heathrow, London where we had the opportunity to meet up with the children of Sunshine.

We then traveled to Bahrain and then on into Kathmandu where we met up with Akbar. We stayed there the night and then left the next day for Pokhara, Nepal! Finally, 6 large suitcases, 2 carry-ons and 2 large purses later we arrived!!
